Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest because it has no screening, no early detection, and symptoms so vague that most women find out too late. The brief was to raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer Action in a way that was impossible to ignore.
Dogs can detect ovarian cancer with up to 90% accuracy, outperforming current diagnostic methods. That raised one uncomfortable question: why are dogs closer to solving this than our healthcare systems? The strategy turned that tension into action, training shelter rescue dogs to detect early signs of the disease and partnering with local shelters to launch the program in cities with the highest mortality rates.
